Every swimsuit needs a matching cover-up! This Melissa / Dalila pattern bundle includes a three-quarter sleeve tunic top that can be made in mesh or swimwear fabric and worn over a bikini but can also be used over pants or skirts. The pareo pattern includes two lengths and and can also be used as a headpiece. They are so easy to make that you can sew a cover-up for every swimsuit you make!
PDF pattern includes Sizes XS-XL. Dalila Tunic: View A: scoop neck tunic that has side slits. View B: has contrast binding and cuffs.
Melissa Pareo: Beach cover-up that ties at the side.
SUGGESTED FABRICS: Pareo: Swimwear fabric, stretch mesh or lightweight wovens. Tunic: Garment Fabric: nylon/ spandex, poly/spandex, stretch mesh, cotton knit, all with 50% stretch or more.
FABRIC REQUIRED: Pareo: 58″ or 60” (150 cm) wide fabric. 1 yd (1 m) of fabric. Tunic: 58″ or 60” (150 cm) wide fabric. View A: 21/4 yd (2 m) of fabric. View B: 21/8 yd (2 m) of fabric for tunic and 1/4 yd (1/4 m) of contrast fabric for cuffs and neck binding.
